After the positive feedback received by the ASAveterinary staff for organising the “MLS® Laser Therapy application on Sport dogs” seminar at the “Canine Centrum”, specialised in treating sports dogs, in the Czech Republic, the corporate team, together with the local distributor DM Medical, organised a second meeting focused on using the therapy for treating equine pathologies (“MLS® Laser Therapy application on horses”).
Supported by Doctor Tatjana Falconi, ASAveterinary specialist, participants were able to analyse how to best use MLS® Laser Therapy and the tangible benefits of its use.
The training session took place in the Centrum Rehabilitace Konì V&E facility and was divided into a theoretical session and a practical one. It was the first event in the equine sector held in the country, which currently only has 3 rehabilitation centres for horses.
“This is a market that could be an interesting catchment area for the development of our therapeutic solution, which gained great interest on the part of the vets present during this first seminar”, Giacomo Granozio, ASA Area Manager confirms.
The attention of the participants was caught in particular by the clinical overview focusing on:
- back pain and muscle problems
- tendinitis e desmitis
- trigger points
- laser puncture
and by the hands-on session to demonstrate the use of the M-VET device.
“The feedback was extremely encouraging, confirming the attention paid by the local vet world towards acquiring innovative therapeutic solutions. This meeting can therefore pave the way for new initiatives on the topic, integrating all the other onsite and online activities which are generally held for stakeholders such as the Physiodog Academy and the Association of Animal Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of Czech Republic, for which a new in-depth event has already been scheduled for September”.
