Case report: Hound dog, female, 6 years old, with a bite wound in the left axillar region, caused by a wild boar. The wound was sutured surgically, but it reopened due to infection.
Therapy: antibiotic therapy based on the response of bacteriologic exam and antibiogram, daily medications and MLS® Laser Therapy.
One week after the surgery and 22 days after the beginning of the therapy, there remained only a small dehiscence area that healed completely after other 15 days.
