A new important partnership was signed in Qatar by Medical Plus, ASAlaser’s local distributor, who concluded the sale of the MLS® Laser Therapy Mphi Equine Orange system for treating purebred Arabian show horses, and Al Waab Farm, the prestigious stud farm in the capital city of Doha. To seal the new business relationship, a training course was held on 16th December by Dr. Tatjana Falconi, a horse vet and the scientific specialist of ASAveterinary, who demonstrated how to use MLS® Laser Therapy on horses. Dr. Paolo Iuliis, who takes care of orthopedics at the centre, was also present for the whole day, together with the veterinary staff of Al Waab Farm and Marco Kray of Medical Plus.
After having covered the theory, which gives more information on how to apply MLS® and the protocols to be used, the course focused on the treatment of some horses from the stud farm that were suffering from pathologies such as tendinitis, tendon sheath synovitis, backache and also one case of paralysis of the facial nerve treated with laserpuncture.
