The most important event for the pet veterinary world in France is organised by AFVAC, the Association Française des Vétérinaires pour Animaux de Compagnie, and was held from 24th to 26th November in the Lille Grand Palais in the same-named French town.
Spotlights were focused on the instrumental physiotherapy segment, an area that until a few years ago did not arouse any particular interest among experts. It is worth mentioning that a positive sign was given last year by the birth of the Physiotherapy and Functional Rehabilitation group chaired by Dr Roberta Burdisso, who is specialised in Functional Rehabilitation and Head of the Physiotherapy Department of the Centre Hospitalier Vétérinaire Fregis in Arcueil (which has been using MLS® from 2013), followed by the action of the Veterinary Surgery group which is increasingly pushing physical therapy as a fundamental step in post-surgery. This year there has been a clear growth of awareness of the utility of laser therapy in daily practice among those attending the event.
The more than positive feedback gathered by Hospimedi and Vtrade, ASAlaser’s distributors for the veterinary segment respectively for France and Belgium, whose stands for the occasion exhibited the Mphi Vet and Mphi Vet Trolley Orange equipment for MLS® Laser Therapy, also confirms this interest.
