The training program by Celtic SMR, ASAlaser’s partner for Great Britain, continues at full speed with the objective of consolidating its role as reference provider in the therapeutic field. Two training sessions concerning the use of MLS® Laser Therapy in the equine sector have been planned in the UK in collaboration with Doctor Tatjana Falconi, an expert vet in horse treatment, and John Rushby, Veterinary Account Manager at Celtic SMR.
The training on 21st April was held at the Highfields yard in Warwickshire, owned by Halina Tombs, a veterinary physiotherapist with many years’ experience as “chief physio” for the two great international events: the “Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials” and the “Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials”. Halina, an Mphi Orange device user, was flanked throughout the day by Jenny Hunt, the Celtic SMR “registered vet doctor”.
The Ashbrook Equine Hospital in Knutsford, one of the most renowned clinics offering “dedicated equine veterinary surgeons”, was the setting for a training session concerning the use of MLS® Laser Therapy devices for a team consisting of 7 doctors, 5 vet nurses and 4 members of the admin department. The session was marked by an intense interactivity between those attending, thanks also to the fact that many of the doctors already employ the Mphi system, therefore many questions concerned specific clinical cases in order to glean additional improvement and in-depth ideas.
