Q. What tips the scale though is always the patient...
A. Knowing that the Laser Therapy sessions do not involve any stress for the animal was a crucial factor for me and a reassuring one for owners who, appropriately informed about the methods of its use and the quality of the obtainable results, very often enthusiastically accept its use. Bringing a series of successful cases to the owners’ attention is another incentive.
Q. Among these cases do you remember one that is particularly representative?
A. Among the many, I remember the story of a mixed-breed dog suffering from deep pyoderma caused by a multi-resistant staphylococcus. The use of local therapies with antimicrobial disinfectants and systemic antibiotics had not given the desired results. Simply combining MLS® Laser Therapy with wound settings and increasing the Hertz for 3 weekly sessions was enough to see it heal from the bacterial skin infection.
