Is there a correlation between physical medicine and endocrinology? This is the topic presented by the speakers of the study day organised by the Società Italiana di Fisiatria e Riabilitazione Veterinaria (SIFIRVET) – Italian Veterinary Physiatry and Rehabilitation Society - in Palazzo Trecchi (Cremona) on 10th March, which focuses on “Physiatry meets General Medicine: special care for patients affected by endocrinopathy”.
Doctor Chiara Chiaffredo (President of SIFIRVET) and Doctor Chiara Adorini, a vet from Udine, who conversed with Doctor Fracasso, an endocrinologist at the University of Bologna, concerning the possible connection between hypothyroidism, calcium metabolism, diabetes and physiotherapy. ASA also took part in the meeting with an exhibition space focused on MLS® Laser Therapy.
