The Covid-19 emergency has led companies to redraw their operations, defining new communication channels which are effective and respond to the social distancing rules. ASAveterinary’s training has also had to deal with the new diktats, based on the requirements imposed by the “lockdown”. In order to comply with the training program scheduled at the beginning of the year, to support vets all over the world who have been using MLS® for a long time and those who are approaching it as neophytes, we have concentrated on webinars and video-conferences, so as to maintain an open channel with our responders.
“From mid-February, our training sessions have taken place online; this is a valid formula as it allows interacting with the participants who thus feel supported and assisted in learning how to use MLS® at its best”, Karla Salazar, ASA’s Area Manager for Central and South America, explains.
“The focus of the virtual training sessions carried out over the past months in Ecuador and Costa Rica –Salazar continues – were wide-ranging issues such as for example the devices’ pluses, the treatment of specific pathologies with laser therapy and the presentation of successful clinical cases. All topics useful for an enhanced performance of the therapy”.
The recent webinars held on 14th and 17th April, respectively in collaboration with Adelmo Rossin (ASAveterinary Specialist) and Doctor Deborah Sades, Zootechnician Veterinary Physician (MVZ) at UNAM (Autonomous National University of Mexico) and lecturer for the ASAveterinary courses, concentrated on “Treatment of stomatitis” in cats and dogs and on “Laser Therapy in orthopaedic patients”, in collaboration with various South American distributors.
In April, the “online” formula also involved our European partners - Danish, Polish and Italian first of all – who took part in meetings focusing on explaining the features of MLS® Laser Therapy, its benefits and the devices for its application.
