Fooki, a cat with abdominal injuries caused by MRSA

SPECIES: cat
BREED: Himalayan
GENDER: sterilised female
AGE: 8 YO
NAME: Fooki

Clinical case:
Fooki was seen because of a chronic cutaneous problem. She shows two continuous solutions on the stomach which previous treatments were not able to solve.
The skin is dry, with two ulcers on the lower abdomen.
She had previously been treated with antibiotics and steroid injections. No therapy proved to be effective.
Fooki is correctly vaccinated.
Lab tests have shown a granulomatous/ eosinophilic dermatitis complicated by MRSA bacteria.

Therapy:
Fooki undertook 13 MLS® Laser Therapy treatments over a period of 6 weeks.
The initial protocol was carried out with the “Wound (infected)” program.
There was a visible marked general improvement already after the first three treatments.
