A course for MLS® Laser Therapy was organised on 1st October at the FORVET centre of the prestigious VETSIA Veterinary Hospital located in Leganés, an independent community in Madrid, in collaboration with Laser Tech Iberica, ASAlaser’s local distributor for the veterinary field. The training, which focused on small animals, was attended by many specialists from throughout Spain, interested in scrutinising the theoretical and practical aspects of the MLS®laser devices.
The training day was held by Dr Fina Cardona Marì and Dr Gemma Del Pueyo Montesino, who work at the clinic using the Mphi Vet laser on a daily basis, and who introduced the basic concepts of MLS® Laser Therapy, analysing the methods of use and the application protocols.
The participants were very satisfied to increase their knowledge concerning this therapy and to analyse in-depth clinical cases useful for improving their activities.
A few days after the training, the staff of the Vetsia Spanish clinic expressed its full satisfaction through the Facebook page:
“In Vetsia we try to collaborate to improve the veterinary profession within the different fields we operate in. Therefore, on 1st October, in collaboration with our Forvet centre and sponsored by ASAlaser, the “clinical application of laser therapy” took place, a workshop coordinated by Dr Gemma Del Pueyo Montesinos, responsible for the Rehabilitation and Hydrotherapy service in our hospital, and held by Fina Marí Cardona, a vet specialised in Veterinary rehabilitation for small animals, whose professional research is also based on laser therapy. The participants were able to increase their knowledge concerning laser therapy and to view several practical cases which we hope can help them to improve their career. We would like to thank our veterinary colleagues who arrived from all over Spain in order to attend the course, and encourage other colleagues to attend the next training sessions which will be organised in our hospital and which may be found on our website.”
