France: MLS® next to post university training

Friday, March 4, 2016

Thanks to the partnership that Hospimedi, the ASAlaser distributor of veterinary class IV laser devices in France, signed with Cirale, a reference centre of worldwide fame for the study of locomotion disorders in horses, various appointments have already been made for 2016. The Clinic run by Pr. Audigié Fabrice is located in Dozulè, a French municipality in the Lower Normandy region, and it not only treats musculoskeletal and musculotendinous disturbances in horses, proposing treatment and prevention solutions, but it also offers university and post-degree training as an affiliate of the National Veterinary School of Alfor. Hospimedi, a partner of this training activity to all effects, will see 55 vets taking part in a post-university course that includes a diploma from the French school, namely the “Diplôme d’Ecole de Cinésiologie, physiothérapie et réadaptation vétérinaire Option équine: science de l’exercice, kinésithérapie et réadaptation des affections locomotrices du Cheval” (Diploma from the School of Kinesiology, physiotherapy and veterinary rehabilitation, Option horses: the science of exercise, physiotherapy and rehabilitation for locomotion problems in Horses”.
The course heads are doctors J.-M. Denoix, L. Bertoni, and C. Scicluna, and they will be supported by F. Desbrosse and R.Van Weeren. The training session is divided into three modules: Hospimedi will always be present with its own stand, and during the third module, programmed for 17th November, our partner will give a speech on MLS® Laser Therapy for horses.
