Analysing the technical aspects of laser therapy with a specific focus on MLS®; defining the clinical fields in which the ASA therapy is used for everyday practice; enabling the understanding of how best to use the new M-VET device: these are the three key points of the workshop focused on the combination of “MLS® & Equines” held by Doctor Tatjana Falconi (veterinary doctor specialised in horses) and by ASAveterinary staff in The Netherlands on 20th and 21st June last.
The training course was implemented in collaboration with our local partner VVDB Nederland and took place in the Emmeloord clinic (CVS group), one of the most prestigious in the country, which has available a professional team highly specialised both in treating small animals and horses.
“The course – Roberto Terruzzi, ASA Area Manager points out - was attended by 12 veterinarians from the DK Emmeloord, DK Gooiland and DK Dieren clinics of the CVS Group, who were able to verify not only the therapy’s excellence in efficiently tackling issues that are often common in horses, but also the ease of use of our device, already adopted by several Dutch professionals”.
Designed for vet specialists who have long been using MLS®, it consisted of a second training, focused on some aspects particularly interesting for those who deal with equines: back muscles, joints and tendons.
“The feedback from the 20 participants was extremely valuable: a successful result which was also due to the support by Doctor Falconi, whose specific experience in this field and proficiency in the use of laser therapy were greatly appreciated by the participants”.
