Three days of in-depth analysis, workshops, information sessions and roundtables: the SCIVAC International Congress (Italian Veterinary Cultural Association for Pet Animals) is confirmed as a leading event for the vet sector which focuses on pet animals. The participants’ objective, mainly orthopaedists, dermatologists and neurologists, held from 25th to 27th May at the Palacongressi in Rimini, was twofold: to assess the state of the art in their fields through lectures given by Italian and foreign opinion leaders and to collect new inputs in order to improve their activities and the quality of life of their patients. “MLS® - explains Silvio Ferracin, the ASAveterinary Sales Manager for Italy – fully meets these needs thanks to its features of being well tolerated by the animal and of ease and speed of application with maximum effectiveness. This is confirmed by the many success cases which we had the opportunity to outline to the vets who visited our exhibition area”. A cross-disciplinary nature which represents one of its strengths as was also highlighted by some therapy users who were present in Rimini. “Undoubtedly, interest in Laser Therapy on the part of professionals is on the increase. Colleagues’ field experience represents additional security for those who are approaching this methodology for the first time, including in the field of rehabilitation”. Thanks to the speech by Doctor Ria Acciani, precisely rehabilitation was the focus of one of the interventions envisaged by the detailed scientific programme of the Congress, which hosted multiple speeches dedicated to trauma surgery, cytology, image diagnostics, dentistry and orthopaedics.
