MLS® Laser Therapy carved out a leading role during the "Congreso Veterinario de León 2019" (4/6 September, Guanajuato - Mexico), considered the most important appointment for the Latin American veterinary sector as is also confirmed by the figures (about 18 thousand registered veterinary surgeons and specialists). ASA therapy and the Mphi Equine Orange laser device were the focus of the exhibition space of our local partner Equipos Interferenciales who took part in the Congress, presenting the therapeutic solution to visitors, highlighting the strengths and underlining the benefits for the animal and for the owner.
“The Congress – explains Karla Salazar, ASA’s Export Area Manager - provided us with important opportunities to enhance the status of MLS®, such as an in-depth study dedicated to its use in small animals and a specific focus on its use in dermatology. These moments were also added to by the conferences “Problemas de abscesos en patas de 2 Elefantes Asiáticos y la terapia láser como tratamiento” and “Efectos de terapia láser en problemas crónicos de 2 elefantes geriatras” focusing on the use of laser therapy in elephants, held by two doctors - Dr Maria Moch and Dr Carlos Gomez Medinadal – who work at the zoo "Parque Ecologico Zacango”.
The fact that laser therapy is gaining particular interest among Mexican specialists was also underlined by the launch of Amfisiovet, the first Mexican association of veterinary physiotherapy, during the meeting.
"Precisely on this occasion - concluded Salazar - Dr Darryl Millis held several speeches during which he also mentioned laser therapy, proof therefore not only of its value, but also of the attention that the veterinary sector is dedicating to this solution".
